Job Title: Clinical Implementation Specialist

Reports To: Director Of Corporate Training

Overview

The Clinical Implementation Specialist is a key position within the Medappz team and is responsible for project planning, customization, and implementation of new practice management systems and/or electronic health records systems. The CIS will deliver a full suite of electronic medical record solutions to the provider community throughout the United States and will require extensive travel.

Specific Duties

  • Assist practices in implementing electronic solutions, such as practice management, billing, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Develop clinical workflows and process improvement recommendations.
  • Customize software based on established practice needs.
  • Conduct go-live training at customer locations.
  • Mentor new Clinical Implementation Specialists.
  • Other duties as assigned and/or required.

Required Skills

  • Ability to travel 80% of the time.
  • Experience working in a clinical environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to train end users on the functionality of medical software.
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills.
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience implementing healthcare practice management or electronic health care systems.
  • Project related work in a healthcare environment. 


Job Title: Technical/Customer Support Specialist

Reports To: Director Of Corporate Training

Overview

This is an entry level, full time, permanent position working directly with our customers by telephone and the Internet to diagnosis and troubleshoot basic to moderate software and hardware support issues. Communicate difficult software issue to advanced support staff for resolution. Testing of software and documenting results as well as training customers on use of software is required.

  • Familiarity with healthcare office data flow and processes

Education

  • Degree in computer information systems or related field preferred
